Crowns and Bridges
A crown saves the tooth and feels comfortable and natural in your mouth. When a tooth is injured by decay, fracture, or has had too many fillings, your dentist may recommend supporting the entire tooth with a crown. Attention to detail is considered whether the crown is all porcelain or an underlying metal substructure is required for strength and stability.
A bridge replaces the space where one or more teeth have been lost. The bridge is cemented to the natural teeth and feels natural and comfortable in your mouth. Your dentist will decide if the bridge is metal free with all porcelain or if a metal substructure is needed for strength.
